Generous PTO
We offer our employees extremely generous Paid Time Off (PTO) from day one and it is just that, “Paid Time Off” for you to use as you see fit. Within certain operating parameters of L.I.N.E. you are free to use your paid time off as you choose with no justification or reason needed, it’s yours, use it however you’d like.
Relaxing Work Schedule
We offer three day weekends for our trainers and, schedule permitting, some afternoons off for our office staff! Our Trainers quickly learn to embrace the three-day-weekend concept. As a Lineman family we know what it means to be available to work 24/7/365. As a Journeyman Lineman you’ve missed holidays, games, and family time because of your dedication to the job. You’ve earned the luxury of waking up late on Saturdays, attending your kid’s games and planning for a family night out without interruption.

Work Culture
We are a Journeyman Lineman pre-apprentice learning Institution. As Journeymen Linemen, our Instructors are naturally heavily invested in the Lineman culture and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We want our Instructors to clearly demonstrate to our students the feeling of
brotherhood, camaraderie and the hard work ethic that being an integral part of the trade means and that means we want you to come as you are! We value our employees’ input into our educational processes and we look to our employees to help keep our business successful. With our success comes your success as an employee.
We may be defined as an “educational institution” by the Educational Department of New York State but make no mistake, we are a family run small business and we act like it. We’ve been in the corporate world and we prefer a small business atmosphere. We know the value of family and we want our employees' families to feel as if they are part of our family as well.
