DONALD 

Founder & COO

L.I.N.E. COO, founder, and instructor, Donald, has a 33+ year career as an electrical lineman and manager. Donald started his career in Maryland and travelled all over the country working various journeyman lineman positions. He has taught classes on safety at the several utilities he has worked for and continues to stress the aspect of safety everyday on the job. He has built a strong foundation and has a reputable history to run a successful school.

BESARTA

Executive Assistant

As Executive Assistant at Linemen Institute of the North East, Besa’s not just here to keep things running smoothly; Besa is also here to ensure that our exceptional leadership team has the freedom to focus on innovation and growth. With over ten years of experience in executive support, she bring a strong commitment to our rapidly expanding company’s goal as well as a desire to help our leaders succeed. Committed to increasing efficiency and promoting seamless collaboration between CEOs and their teams.

NANCI

CEO

As CEO, Nanci works the “behind the scenes” magic. From interfacing with town executives, to retaining the proper counsel for a particular issues that needs to be counseled on, to searching out the best contractor for the job - she utilizes word-of-mouth, social media, and the internet to get the job done. Along with developing and implementing operational procedures and policies to ensure that Linemen Institute of the North East stays true to its founding principles in all aspects of its operation, Nanci works hard to keep our mission to educate and train the linemen of tomorrow as our top priority.

JOHN

Journeyman Lineman & Head Instructor

John started his career at Metropolitan Transportation Authority as a power lineman 21 years ago. After about 7 years, he was promoted to a  Foreman’s position and about 7 years after that, he was again promoted to Supervisor of overhead Lines on the H/H line’s and west of Hudson until April 2022. John finds being at L.I.N.E. is very rewarding and fulfilling because he is able to pass on the knowledge of the trade that he has learned over the years. To be able to be part of a team that is training future lineman is just beyond words, especially at Lineman Institute of the North East

MATT H

Journeyman Lineman &  Instructor

After graduating college with a degree in arboriculture, Matt spent 10 years as a certified arborist in the tree care industry. After being introduced to the trade by his father, Matt would spend the next 20 years of his career in this industry, 10 years as a lineman and 10 years as a working foreman. Teaching apprentice linemen on the job has always been a rewarding part of the job. After coming to L.I.N.E. to become a full time instructor, Matt realized how important it is for experienced linemen to pass on the experience and knowledge to the next generation of lineworkers.

BILL

Journeyman Lineman &  Instructor

Bill started out as an electrical apprentice eventually starting his own contracting business. In 2006, he got the opportunity to start in the lineman apprenticeship program at Orange and Rockland Utilities.  During his years with O&R, he was a Journeyman Lineman in distribution, an Instructor for the apprenticeship program at O&R, a trainer for: Equipment Operations, Supplemental Workforce training, and, Bucket and Pole Top Rescue, a Shop Steward for IBEW Local 503, an Equipment Technician Chief and an HV Troubleshooter.

MATT A

Journeyman Lineman &  Instructor

Matt began his career in the utility industry as a meter reader before advancing to a utility worker role. Shortly thereafter, he embarked on the line apprenticeship program, ultimately becoming a journeyman lineman. Over the years, Matt gained extensive hands-on experience, spending about five years as a trouble man and several years serving as a chief lineman. Matt’s passion for teaching stems from the eagerness and enthusiasm he sees in every student. He finds great fulfillment in guiding and shaping the next generation of linemen, knowing that his work helps build a stronger future for the trade.

BRINNAH

Admissions Liaison 

Starting with Linemen Institute back in 2018, Brinnah, along with her parents, Donald and Nanci, helped begin L.I.N.E. and established communication with potential students all over the Northeast. Managing the students, social media, and applications, Brinnah is the glue that holds the student body together. After leaving L.I.N.E. in 2021 and returning in 2023 to help with social media, Brinnah again took her place working directly with our students.

LISA

Office Manager

Lisa, our Office Coordinator, has worked in the office environment almost her entire career. Responsible for the day to days, Lisa makes sure that the office runs smoothly and efficiently. We are lucky to have Lisa's expertise in our office and have her help us as we move along.

Building Maintenance

Justin, working tirelessly behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly since he started here at L.I.N.E.. His hard work, attention to detail, and positive attitude make a huge impact every day. We’re so grateful to have Justin on our team and appreciate all that he does to help things run seamlessly!
