1. What career opportunities can this program lead to?
Graduates of the Linemen Institute of the North East (L.I.N.E.) Electrical Lineworker Program are prepared for entry-level roles such as:

Electrical Lineworker (Lineman)

Groundman or Apprentice positions

Utility and telecommunications roles
L.I.N.E. maintains strong relationships with industry employers, many of whom participate in our Employer Day, where they meet and connect directly with students. ​Our graduates have gone on to work for companies such as National Grid, Con Edison, Central Hudson, PSEG, Verizon, and many others.

While employment is not guaranteed, the program is designed to prepare graduates to enter the workforce as strong, job-ready candidates.
2. How much does Linemen Institute Cost?

3. How long is the Linemen Institute program?
Linemen Institute of the North East is a 500 hour program. This is roughly about four months.
4. Do you accept federal aid?
While we do not currently accept federal aid, please see our available scholarship and loan options on our Ways to Pay page.​​

We are also ineligible for the GI Bill but we do have some discounts for veterans. Please give us a call at 845-247-7393 for more information.
